Kickin' In The Front Window and Too Heavy To Carry are the two pieces wich we played with the Houdini's. this dynamic formation includes a rythm section with Bram Wijland on drums and Marius Beets on bass, Rolf Delfos on alto sax, Barend Middelhof on tenor sax, and on trumpet Angelo Verploegen, who is also a member of the JazzOrchestra of the Concertgebouw. Pianist Erwin Hoorweg plays a tasteful solo on Kickin' In The Front Window and Barend Middelhof solos and blends magnificently on the unique mutual composition by Rolf and Erwin, Too Heavy To Carry.
